The Indian Independence Day celebration was held in Springfield

SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (WGGB/WSHM) – The Springfield community will hold an event Saturday to honor Indian heritage.

Mayor Domenic Sarno will join members of our Indian-American community to raise the Indian flag.

Saturday’s celebration begins at 10:30 a.m. in Tower Square on Main Street.
