Vice presidential nominee Sen. JD Vance announced plans to hold a news conference in Kenosha at noon Tuesday.

His campaign said he would focus on crime and safety.

The conference is scheduled to begin at noon at the Kenosha County Courthouse.

It will be the third week in a row that Vance has visited Wisconsin. Vance spoke Friday about crime and opioids in Milwaukee. Also stopped in Eau Claire on August 6th.

Vance is scheduled to appear alongside U.S. Senate candidate Eric Hovde, U.S. Rep. Bryan Steil and Kenosha County Sheriff David Zoerner, according to the Trump campaign.

Vance will also be in Wisconsin the same day Vice President Kamala Harris and Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz hold a rally at the Fiserv Forum in Milwaukee, the same venue that hosted the Republican National Convention in July. Harris and Walz’s rally will take place at the same time as the Democratic National Convention in Chicago at the United Center.
