Woman arrested for multiple child sex crimes in Zachary, officials say

ZACHARY, La. (WAFB) – The Zachary Police Department has arrested a woman for allegedly committing multiple child sex crimes.

Police said Dekisha Gibson, 36, was charged with eight counts of contributing to the delinquency of juveniles, eight counts of indecent behavior with juveniles, and one count of carnal knowledge of a juvenile.

Law enforcement also arrested Clinon Gibson, 75, for possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia, as well as two juveniles for nine undisclosed charges.

The arrests were made after detectives executed several search warrants at a house on Little Farms Drive in Zachary on Tuesday morning, Aug. 6. The police had reportedly been investigating for several months. The La. The Department of Children and Family Services had also previously investigated.

“This is a complicated investigation involving multiple cases, previous investigations and the safety of juveniles who have been victimized and also charged with individual crimes,” said Chief Darryl Lawrence. “The Zachary Police Department’s priority will always be to protect and serve our community.”

Police said they are not releasing the juveniles’ names and charges.
