Arkansas defensive end Landon Jackson was named preseason All-SEC first team by the coaches | The Arkansas Democrat-Gazette

Defensive end Landon Jackson is the only Arkansas player on three preseason All-SEC teams voted on by the conference’s 16 coaches and announced Thursday. Jackson had 44 tackles last season with 13 1/2 for losses totaling 78 yards with 6 1/2 sacks.

Former running back Raheim “Rocket” Sanders, who transferred to South Carolina from Arkansas, was voted second-team offense.

Georgia, ranked No. 1 in The Associated Press preseason poll, leads the coaches’ All-SEC teams with 15 players, Alabama second (14) and Texas third (10).
