Littleton man wanted in 2022 for Vermont murder captured in Lisbon, police say

Aug. 28 — A Littleton man wanted for first-degree murder in Vermont was arrested Wednesday in Lisbon, state police said.

Paul Lachapelle Jr., 28, was wanted in connection with a 2022 homicide in Springfield, Vermont. He was arrested on a fugitive from justice warrant.

Lachapelle faces charges of first-degree murder and conspiracy to commit first-degree murder in the June 6, 2022, death of Justin Gilliam, police said.

Police booked Lachapelle into the Grafton County Jail until he could be arraigned Thursday in Littleton District Court.
