Suspect awaiting sentencing in Springfield sexual assault of minors

SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (WGGB/WSHM) – A suspect convicted of distributing material about a child in a sexual act will be sentenced in Hampden County Superior Court.

Wesley Bowleg, 28, of Springfield, was found guilty on August 20.

In August 2019, the Springfield Police Department found a video on social media showing two female minors being sexually assaulted by Bowleg.

He will be sentenced in court on Thursday morning.
