Man killed in Stratford car crash on Highway 41 near Nevada Avenue

The driver of the truck suffered minor injuries and was treated at the scene.

Kings County, CA. – A man died in a car accident near Stratford, Kings County, Wednesday night.

The fatal crash happened around 10:30 p.m. on Interstate 41, north of Nevada Avenue, according to the California Highway Patrol.

A 22-year-old man from Arkansas was driving a white Toyota Rav4 southbound when he veered into the northbound lanes and collided head-on with a tan Toyota Tacoma driven by a 26-year-old man from Hanford.

The impact caused the Tacoma to overturn.

Authorities say the Arkansas man died in the crash.
