Jeremy Allen White has gained increased popularity in recent years for driving Bearhis CASTand for good reasons. But now, the actor is about to star in his most famous role yet — a movie in which he’ll play Bruce Springsteen. Since White was cast in the role of the rock star earlier this year, he has begun the preparation process. The actor is no stranger to roles associated with pressure, given the intensity associated with Chef Carmy from Bear or professional wrestler Kerry Von Erich from last year Iron Claw. It’s safe to say that Jeremy Allen White is pulling out all the stops to do justice to the “Born In The USA” singer from biopic, Free me from nowheregiven his recent comments about the role. Here’s what he had to say about the research he did while preparing for the role:

I’m very lucky that there is now a team of people to help young actors play rock stars. (Laughs.) I have a very talented group of people helping me train vocally, musically, to prepare for this. I’m also really lucky (that) Bruce is really supportive of the film, so I had access to him, and he’s just the coolest guy. Also, there are so many pictures. It’s really cool to go down a YouTube rabbit hole and find him at all these different times in his life and be able to hear his speaking voice as well as his singing voice. That was kind of the deal, just listening to it a lot and watching it a lot. It was a lot of fun getting ready.
